Hamaderamochi Kagetsudo

Don't miss out on the mochi rice cake of happiness from Kagetsudo!

While officially called Kagetsudo, it has numerous other affectionate nicknames in
Japanese among its regular customers.
Every day rice is pounded here in the morning, allowing freshly made mochi rice
cakes and manjyu to be enjoyed. They also sell special "athlete's mochi" called
"One Charge S," which was recently created in collaboration between Kansai
University and Sakai City. They work hard every day so that their Japanese
confections will bring smiles to the faces of all who eat them.
